Successful candidates have obtained (or are close to obtaining) an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related area and have strong interest in subjects related to software reliability and security.
The typical duration of a PhD grant at the IMDEA Software Institute is between 3 and 5 years. The contract is renewed annually, depending on progress. The salaries vary from 18,400 to 27,600 Euros per year, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, full health insurance is provided.
Candidates holding fellowships, scholarships, or any other study grants from national or international public or private institutions are also welcome to apply as PhD students.
