Goran Doychev, Ph.D.

Researcher in Information Security

Goran Doychev

About me

Between 2012 and 2016 I was a Ph.D. student at the IMDEA Software Institute and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), under Boris Köpf. Prior to that I was at the Saarland University in Saarbücken, Germany, where I obtained my BSc and MSc degrees in computer science.

My research focuses on information security. In particular, I am interested in obtaining quantitative security guarantees for practical computer systems, and using them to develop economically justified defenses. I apply my research to side-channel attack prevention.
