UPM / IMDEA Track in Software Development through Rigorous MethodsTable of ContentsWeekly theory seminar IICoordinator(s)/Instructor(s)
Length4 credits (ECTS) PrerequisitesHave enough overall knowledge of a wide spectrum of computer science topics in order to follow and understand the research presentations which are made in the seminar. This course requires constant interaction with a researcher from the IMDEA Institute and thus it needs the availability of a researcher and a close matching of research interests. Therefore, we ask you to please include it in the mail you ought to send to graduate.school (at) software.imdea.org with the list of courses you want to take from the IMDEA track, together with the name(s) of one or two IMDEA Software researchers that you think may match your research interests. You will receive a mail stating the courses in which you are welcome to enroll. If you enroll in an IMDEA Track course for which you did not receive explicit approval, you may be asked to switch over to a different one. Course web page (if any)Not yet available. Summary and objectivesThe IMDEA Software Institute hosts a research presentation every week. All enrolled students are expected to make at least one such presentation per semester, and all students are expected to attend all (or, at least, most) presentations. Student advisers may periodically check that students are actually following and understanding the presentations in order to assess their maturity.
