The internship will explore novel solutions for cybersecurity. The following are possible topics for the internship:
The internship results could be part of an academic publication and/or form the basis of a Master’s thesis. Candidates that excel may be offered a PhD position.
Candidates should have a B.Sc. degree in computer science or a related discipline, or be in the process of obtaining one. Candidates should have an interest in the above topics, and a strong commitment to research. Python programming and tool building skills are required. Good command of English both spoken and written is required.
The position is based in Madrid, Spain, where the IMDEA Software Institute is situated. The institute provides for travel expenses and an internationally competitive stipend. The working language at the institute is English.
The ideal duration of the position is 3 to 6 months. The tentative starting period is October 1, 2025, with flexibility to delay the start.
