  • Telecommunications Engineer, University of Seville.
  • European Patent Attorney.
  • Spanish Industrial Property Agent.
  • Diploma in “Patent Litigation in Europe” from the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI).
  • Official Industrial Property Agent, Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM).

From 2002 to 2007, he was a patent examiner at the European Patent Office in The Hague, Netherlands, in the telecommunications technical sector. In addition to his work searching for and examining patents, he participated in specialized courses and working groups on patents within the European context. Previously, he worked for several years at various companies in the telecommunications sector, including Telefónica and Vodafone.

Currently, he is the Director of the Telecommunications, Software, and AI Patent Area at H&A’s patent department. In addition to the duties of managing this technical area, he also performs technical tasks related to patent applications (drafting patents, responding to official actions, etc.), representation before the European Patent Office (attending Oral Examination and Opposition Proceedings, etc.), and the preparation of infringement and patentability reports.
