A group of 57 students from the École des Ponts ParisTech visited the Institute on September 21 between 9:30 and 11:00.
The event consisted of introducing the students to some of the Institute’s lines of research: security, verification, systems and cryptography. The short talks that were given by some Institute faculty’s from each area of expertise.
The mission of this visit was to raise awareness of the center and the excellent research being carried out, with the aim of encouraging some ParisTech students to become future researchers at the Institute.
Marco Guarnieri, Assistant Research Professor at the IMDEA Software Institute, as the organizer of the event, was in charge of welcoming the attendees, introducing the other faculty in charge of the talks, as well as introducing them to the Institute. Georgios Portokalidis, was in charge of the security talk; Ignacio Cascudo of the cryptography talk; Niki Vazou of the verification talk; and finally, Thaleia Dimitra Doudali was in charge of the systems talk.
