The IMDEA Software Institute has been present at the second edition of “Science for Industry” (S4i) to showcase its most innovative projects at the stand of the Community of Madrid, together with the other IMDEA Institutes on January 18th and 19th, at La Nave, Madrid.
The event, organized by the Autonomous University of Madrid and BeAble Capital, is the largest international meeting on deep science.
S4i has showcased the most disruptive research projects in today’s main industrial sectors and has brought together universities, research centers, leading companies and scientific capital funds from all over the world.
During the first day, Amaya Mendikoetxea, Rector of the UAM, and Miguel Manso, Vice Rector for Campus and Infrastructures (UAM) visited the IMDEA Institutes space. Manuel Carro, Director of IMDEA Software, Ricardo Ramos, Director of IMDEA Materials and Daniel Granados, Scientific Director of IMDEA Nanoscience welcomed them.
Arturo Azcorra, Director of IMDEA Networks, and María Alcaraz, Manager of IMDEA Software, welcomed Emilio Viciana, Regional Minister of Education, Science and Universities, and Ana Ramírez de Molina, Deputy Regional Minister of Universities, Research and Science, who were accompanied by Amaya Mendikoetxea and Felix Zamora, Vice-Rector for Transfer, Innovation and Culture of the UAM.
