What rights do you have and where do you request them?
You may request the exercise of these rights by the means of contact indicated
above, providing a copy of your identity document.
- Access
- To consult your data and obtain confirmation on whether or not said data are being processed.
- Rectification
- To change any data that might be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Erasure
- To request that they be erased where they are not necessary, where
required by a law, where you withdraw your consent or you object to the
processing, among other reasons.
- Objection
- To request that they should not be processed for reasons based on
your personal circumstances, in which case once said reasons have been
examined, your data shall no longer be processed.
- Restriction of processing
- In order to limit the processing while it is being determined whether
to address other rights you might have exercised, you object to the
erasure of your data or you wish them to be stored, even though IMDEA
SOFTWARE might not need to process them, for the exercise or defence of
your claims.
- Portability
- To obtain the personal data that you have provided us and those that
we have obtained during your relationship with the Foundation in
electronic format.
- Withdrawal of your consent
- In order that the processing of your data will not continue
hereafter, which shall not affect the processing done up to that
point.
You may also submit a claim to the Spanish Data Protection Agency
(AEPD) where you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the law.
Your curriculum vitae
- For what purpose?
- To study your candidature in the selection process for which you are applying.
- Why can it be done?
- Because the sending of your application implies your consent to the
processing of your data for the purposes indicated. In the case of
providing data from third parties for the purpose of providing
references, you must have previously obtained their consent.
- Who else may access your data?
- Your data are not provided to third parties.
- For how long are your data stored?
- The results of the selection process will be kept for a period of three
years from the end of the process in order to meet possible
responsibilities and claims, unless it is necessary to keep them for a
longer period if the process can be audited by the body subsidising the
project to which the vacancy for which it is applying refers.
- For what purpose?
- Only your contact data are necessary for purposes of replying to your request.
- Why can it be done?
- Because your request gives rise to a legitimate interest of IMDEA
SOFTWARE in replying to you, for which your contact data has to be
processed.
- Who else may access your data?
- On no account are your data provided to third parties.
- For how long are your data stored?
- Your data shall be erased once your request has been addressed unless
another kind of relationship or interest arises from it that might
require their storage.
The processing of the images captured by video surveillance systems and the data necessary to control access to the building
- For what purpose?
- The processing of images by video surveillance systems and data obtained
to record access to the facilities is done for purposes of security and
control of access thereto.
- Why can it be done?
- The processing of images for purposes of video surveillance and access
control is based on the legitimate interest of IMDEA SOFTWARE in
protecting its property, plant and equipment as well as the security of
its employees and all such persons who might access its facilities.
- Who else may access your data?
- The video surveillance and security is provided by SEGURIDAD, CONTROL Y
DETECCIÓN, S.L. and the auxiliary services by SERLINGO SERVICIOS, S.L.
which accesses the data on the account of IMDEA SOFTWARE.
- The images could, upon demand, be provided to law enforcement authorities
or judges and courts in the course of investigations or proceedings or
when they might have to be provided for the exercise or defence of the
rights of IMDEA SOFTWARE or third parties that might be affected.
- For how long are your data stored?
- Your data shall be erased no later than one month from recording or
obtaining them, notwithstanding any images or records that might have to
be kept in the course of an investigation, being required until such
investigation ends or the liabilities that might be inferred from the
access or the activities recorded can be determined.
- In the case of access records not related to visits, they will be kept
for one year and in any case for as long as responsibilities can be
derived from them.
- For what purpose?
- Data are processed for purposes of contact with companies, businesspeople
or professionals with whom IMDEA SOFTWARE collaborates or to whom it
provides services or for identifying the legal representatives of said
companies where legal relations might be established with them.
- Why can it be done?
- Because the relationship established with its customers and providers
determines the existence of a legitimate interest in maintaining fluid
contact with the company through its employees and to be able to verify
the capacity of representation of its representatives for purposes of
legal relations.
- Who else may access your data?
- Your data are not provided to third parties unless it should be required
by law.
- For how long are your data stored?
- For as long as you maintain relations with your company or institution
and in the case of legal documents, for as long as they might have effect
or some kind of responsibility might derive from them, while they are
also necessary for the exercise or defence of the interests of the
Institute vis-à-vis claims.
The processing of data on participants of events
- For what purpose?
- Data are processed for purposes of contact with companies, businesspeople
or professionals with whom IMDEA SOFTWARE collaborates or to whom it
provides services or for identifying the legal representatives of said
companies where legal relations might be established with them.
- Why can it be done?
- Because there is a legitimate interest deriving from your request to take
part in the event. With your consent in the case of Image capturing or
sending information about future events organized around the areas to be
investigated by the Institute or relating to the activities of IMDEA
SOFTWARE hereafter.
- Who else may access your data?
- If you have agreed to appear in photographs taken during the event, your
image could appear as a participant in the event on the Institute’s
website and on its social networks.
- For how long are your data stored?
- The data in relation to your registration shall be stored for no more
than three years from the date they are obtained. Your contact data shall
be stored for as long as you do not revoke your consent to the sending of
information. Any event images shall become part of the Institute’s
photograph file, although you may object to this at any time.
- For what purpose?
- Your contact details are required in order to attend to the exercise of
your right and to manage your request in accordance with the procedure
established by the regulations on transparency, maintaining a register of
such details and, where appropriate, communicating to you the resolution
adopted in said procedure.
- Why can it be done?
- In compliance with the legal obligation to guarantee the right to public
information recognized by the Law on Transparency, Access to Public
Information and Good Governance.
- Who else may access your data?
- Your data are not provided to third parties.
- For how long are your data stored?
- The maximum limitation period for transparency infringements is five
years.
Data of students in practice
- For what purpose?
- To manage the implementation and use of the practices, as well as giving
you access to the corresponding facilities, rooms and offices, and
promote the Institute’s activities on its website. Your participation in
the Institute will be reflected in the Annual Report.
- Why can it be done?
- Because it is necessary for the execution of the practices. For the
legitimate interest of the Institute in guaranteeing security by
controlling access to its facilities, and transparency in the fulfilment
of its foundational purposes. With your consent for the publication of
your photograph on the website.
- Who else may access your data?
- Your training centre can request information on the results of the practices.
- Your name, centre of origin, as well as your image,
will be published on the Institute’s website.
- For how long are your data stored?
- The data related to the performance of the practice are kept for three
years from the end of the practice, unless this information can be
audited by the entities that subsidise the Foundation’s projects insofar
as these responsibilities are prescribed.
- The data reflected in the Foundation’s Annual Reports will be kept
indefinitely.
