internship in cryptographic polynomial commitments

Applications are invited for a research intern position at the IMDEA Software Institute, Madrid, Spain. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of Ignacio Cascudo in a project in the area of cryptography, with special emphasis on polynomial commitments and zero knowledge proofs.

Who should apply?

Applicants should be Ph.D. students in Computer Science. The applicants should have strong background and interest in cryptography. Good teamwork and communication skills, including good spoken and written English are also required.

Working at IMDEA Software

The position is based in Madrid, Spain, where the IMDEA Software Institute is situated. Salaries are internationally competitive and include attractive conditions such as access to an excellent public healthcare system. The working language at the institute is English. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.

Dates

The internship duration is intended to be for 3 months (with some flexibility). The starting period would be May 2025 or later.
