EIT ICT Labs Co-Location Center Manager
The Madrid Associate Partner Group (APG,
http://www.eitictlabs.eu/about-us/locations/madrid-apg/) of the EIT
ICT Labs (http://www.eitictlabs.eu/) is seeking a person for a
full-time position as Co-Location Center (CLC)
manager. The CLC manager reports to the APG director and is
directly in charge of addressing all the topics necessary to make the
CLC a meeting point for the stakeholders involved in the APG.
The tasks of a CLC manager include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Node Director in the daily management of the CLC
(e.g. human resources, administration, budget, etc.).
- Supporting partners in finding their way through EIT ICT Labs
structure, project proposal preparation (including budgeting),
reporting and audits.
- Forecasting and controlling the budget of the activities linked to
the CLC.
- Planning and managing the logistic aspects of the CLC (e.g. office
spaces, IT infrastructures, etc.).
- Taking care of publicity and communication activities for the CLC
and the node itself and some of its members as needed, in
collaboration with the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team of
EIT ICT Labs.
- Organizing and managing ICT Labs events at the CLC: Summer
Schools, Idea Challenge, activity meetings, pre-call workshops,
etc.
- Supporting the Call for Activities process (e.g. organization of
Proposals Clinics, keeping the partners informed of the planned
activity preparation workshops, etc).
- Build relations with the other CLCs across Europe and exchange
information and best practices with other CLC managers.
- Maintaining a healthy relationship with the partner network, both
local and across Europe.
- Be the contact person for resident start-up companies, HII
Activity teams, and Master and Doctoral students regarding facility
matters.
- Gather data to monitor the health of the CLC and to perform
reporting duties.
- Work with Action Line Leaders, Business Community, DTC managers
and local Master School and DTC leaders to create relevant actions and
support their work.
The contract will be drafted with the IMDEA Software Institute,
coordinator of the Madrid APG. We offer a competitive salary,

Knowledge of the following is not strictly required but will be a
bonus:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- An ICT-related degree.
- Use of version control systems (e.g., subversion).
- Programming / database / web design / web programming skills.
- Knowledge of LaTeX.
