The IMDEA Software Institute offers an intern position in the area of security and privacy in blockchain. The work may involve a combination of (i) study of protocols for security and privacy in the Lightning Network, and (ii) empirical analysis of aforementioned protocols. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Pedro Moreno-Sánchez.
Applicants should have finished (or be close to finish) a master degree in Computer Science. Interest in cryptography, distributed systems or blockchain is highly valued. Good command of English both spoken and written is required.
The positions are based in Madrid, Spain where the IMDEA Software Institute is situated. Salaries are internationally competitive and include attractive conditions such as access to an excellent public healthcare system. The working language at the institute is English. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.
The position has an initial duration of 6 months. Extensions are possible upon discussion. The preferred starting date is October 15th, 2021.
