The IMDEA Software Institute, through REDIMadrid, has been present at “QCI Days Vienna 2024”, the successor of “QKD Days Madrid 2022”, organized by the Austrian Institute of Technology. The event, which took place at the Federation of Austrian Industries from January 25-26, was a unique opportunity to discuss the latest trends in secure quantum communication.
The occasion brought together experts from Digital Europe Programme (DEP) and Quantum Flagship projects, specialists, from industry and R&D, and policy makers in the fields of quantum communication and cybersecurity. The aim is to shape the future of the pan-European Quantum Communication Infrastructure.
The event, attended by David Rincón, Chief Engineer of REDIMadrid, consisted of workshops on Euro-QCI architecture and deployment; discussions with leading experts in certification and standardization; presentations on the secure quantum technologies ecosystem; QKD network vendor showcase; and networking with ongoing DEP projects involving academia, industry and end users.
