On Tuesday, May 13, the IMDEA Software Institute welcomed Mariana Arce, Pablo Gómez, and Eduardo Gutiérrez, members of the Más Madrid parliamentary group in the Madrid Assembly. This visit is one of several being carried out by Más Madrid deputies to gain first-hand insight into the IMDEA Institutes ecosystem.
During the morning, the institute’s director, Manuel Carro; deputy director, Antonio Fernández; and general manager, María Alcaraz, presented the mission and vision of the institute to the parliamentarians, emphasizing the importance of supporting researchers and removing barriers to attract and retain scientific talent.
Manuel Carro also highlighted the role of the IMDEA Software Institute which, despite being a young institution, has managed to position itself among the top-ranking centers of excellence in its field.
