From June 4th to 6th, the University of Zaragoza hosted the X National Cybersecurity Research Conference (JNIC), a key event in the academic and professional cybersecurity landscape in Spain. Several researchers from the IMDEA Software Institute took part, showcasing their latest work in the field.
During the conference, Gibran Gómez, postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Software, presented the paper “Measuring Data Pollution in Cryptocurrency Abuse Reporting Services”, co-authored with Juan Caballero, research professor at the institute, and Kevin van Liebergen, a PhD student at the same center.
The study received the Best Work-in-Progress Award, recognizing its relevance in analyzing the quality of data used in cryptocurrency abuse reporting services.
Partly organized by the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), the JNIC conference aims to foster the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and experiences between academia, research institutions, and industry.
