The 11th edition of AdaByron took place on July 4th and 5th at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, bringing together the top 42 university programming teams from across Spain. After an intense day of competition, the “UPC1” team from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña claimed first place.
Once again, this year, the IMDEA Software Institute played a key role as a platinum sponsor of the event, reaffirming its commitment to supporting young talent, promoting STEM vocations, and fostering collaborative learning.
During the opening ceremony, Antonio Fernández, Deputy Director of the institute, gave a talk encouraging participants to consider pursuing a research career at IMDEA Software as a promising professional path. He also presented the first prize during the closing ceremony: three Nintendo Switch 2 consoles for the winning team.
We at IMDEA Software would like to congratulate all the teams that made it to the final round and thank the organizing committee for their excellent work in making this edition possible. We look forward to collaborating again next year.
