On June 18 and 19, Tarragona hosted the annual meeting of the SOMMa alliance’s Project Management Working Group. The event brought together project management staff from the Severo Ochoa and María de Maeztu centers and units of excellence. Representing the IMDEA Software Institute, which has held the María de Maeztu seal of excellence since 2025, was Juan José Collazo, Project Manager at the center.
Co-organized by IPHES-CERCA and ICIQ-CERCA, the two-day event combined working sessions, meetings with the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI), and spaces for professional exchange to share experiences and best practices in scientific management.
These meetings allow centers to share experiences with other leading institutions and continue strengthening collaborative networking.
