Alessandra Gorla joined IMDEA Software as an Assistant Research Professor in December 2014. She has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Software Engineering Chair at Saarland University in Germany from 2011 to 2014, and she has been a visiting researcher at Google in Mountain View right before joining IMDEA Software. Alessandra received her Ph.D degree in Informatics from Università della Svizzera Italiana (also known as University of Lugano), Switzerland. For her doctoral thesis she was awarded the Fritz Kutter Award in 2011.
