Project Financial Manager
The IMDEA Software Institute wishes to incorporate a Financial Manager of
Research Projects immediately for the administrative management of the Mathador
project, whose contract will be extended until 31/03/2020. Gross salary of
25,000 € per year.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in business administration or related field is a requirement, MSc/MA
is an asset.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in financial management of
subsidized projects (national, European and international): budget control,
allocation of efforts, eligibility check, audits, economic justification
reports, preparation of time sheets, monitoring of cumulation of aids, etc.
- Knowledge of accounting for the extraction and justification of
expenses for their transfer to the economic justification reports of the
projects.
- High level of Microsoft Office program suite (advanced user of Excel and
Word).
- Valuable: experience in international research environments and in the use
of ERPs and project management programs.
The candidate must be organized, proactive, service-oriented, able to perform
multiple tasks, and motivated to drive continuous improvement in the tasks he
or she performs.
Tasks
- Financial management of research projects, including closings, preparation
of reports and justifications, and audit support.
- Budget monitoring.
- Support in the generation of periodic reports.
