Applications are invited to apply for an internship at the IMDEA Software Institute, Madrid, Spain under the supervision of Dr. Juan Caballero.
The internship will explore privacy analysis techniques. The work may involve a combination of data collection, data analysis, and natural language processing.
The internship results could be part of an academic publication and/or form the basis of a Bachelor or Master’s thesis. Candidates that excel may be offered a PhD position.
Candidates should have an excellent MSc or BSc degree in computer science or a related discipline, with an interest in privacy, natural language processing, and data analysis, and a strong commitment to research. Python programming and tool building skills are required. Good command of English both spoken and written is required.
The position is based in Madrid, Spain, where the IMDEA Software Institute is situated. The institute provides for travel expenses and a stipend. The working language at the institute is English. Remote work options will be explored in a per-candidate basis.
The internship will last 3 months starting on May 1st, with some flexibility.
