Research Intern in Program Analysis

The IMDEA Software Institute (Madrid, Spain) invites applications for one research internship in the area of Program Analysis. The successful candidate will work with Pierre Ganty.

The successful candidate will develop algorithms to check entailment between constrained Horn clauses and predicate automata.

Who should apply?

Applicants should be BSc or MSc in computer science, mathematics or a related discipline. Knowledge of automata theory is required (e.g. finite state automata, context-free grammars, Turing machines). Some familiarity with program analysis using constrained Horn clauses will be considered a plus.

Working at IMDEA Software

The position is based in Madrid, Spain, where the IMDEA Software Institute is situated. The institute provides for travel expenses and an internationally competitive stipend. The working language at the institute is English.

Dates

The internship duration is intended to be for 6 months. The ideal starting period is early October of 2021. The work schedule can be adapted to the needs of the selected candidate.
