PhD student in cryptography

The IMDEA Software Institute invites applications for a PhD student in the area of Cryptography. The successful candidate will work on the design and analysis of cryptographic protocols for computing securely on untrusted machines.

Who should apply?

Ideal candidates have earned (or are in their last year of) a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, with an interest in cryptography and security.

Working at IMDEA Software

The position is based in Madrid, Spain, where the IMDEA Software Institute is situated. The institute provides for travel expenses and an internationally competitive stipend. The working language at the institute is English.

Dates

The starting date is October 2021.
