Applications are invited to apply for one intern position at the IMDEA Software Institute, Madrid, Spain.
The selected candidate will work with Thaleia Dimitra Doudali.
The project will explore existing and develop new explainable artificial intelligence methods for understanding and interpreting machine learning-based models that are used in forecasting time-series data.
The position requires good programming and problem solving skills and proficiency in spoken and written English. A background on machine learning (course work, coding experience etc.) is highly desirable. The duration of the position and project scope allows for the supervision of thesis-related deliverables, e.g., Masters thesis.
The IMDEA Software Institute is ranked among the best European research institutes in computer science. The institute provides an internationally competitive stipend and support for research related travel. The working language at the institute is English. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.
The duration of the position is up to 6 months. The starting date is flexible, starting from January 2023. Deadline for applications is November 15, 2022. Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
